Dear Friends, Have a great holiday! We will close on December 22
until January 3rd. Kay and I will have family visiting as do so
many volunteers, so we are treating ourselves to more cooking at
home. What is wrong with this picture! Transportation WILL
continue however, please ask for a schedule. Telephone messages
will be picked up daily. Thank you so much for the wonderful
response to my annual "begging letter." So far we have raised
funds for one of our last three computers and for two large 24"
HD monitors for our Low Vision Center. Only two more computers
to go! The Decorative Painting Class have painted a beautiful
sled for us to raffle. Come buy a ticket for $2. This will help
increase our computer fund.
Special thanks to: a) Notre Dame CCD
classes for the great Halloween Baskets for the Child First
Program at Bridgeport Hospital. b)
Mothers' and Daughters' National Charities League for
making the beautiful Thanksgiving baskets and filling them with
all the Thanksgiving Day foods. c) To
Webelos Troop 66 and SSES Turkey Trot students and
parents for their incredible efforts to bring in generous food
donations.
We would especially like to thank the Easton Senior Center
volunteers for their endless hours devoted to the Silent
Auction, and the gorgeous gift baskets now for sale to help
purchase new computers. Please stop in and take a look at all
the gift baskets, stuffed animals and book sets for children and
our exquisite stationery sale now going on at the center.
Purchase gifts at reasonable prices and help support the Senior
